Tennessee Gas Association
Scholarship Foundation

Founded in 1997, the Tennessee Gas Association Scholarship Program was established by the Tennessee Gas Association (TGA) to provide financial assistance to the children of employees who are TGA members seeking higher education and residing in the State of Tennessee. The TGA Board created the Tennessee Gas Association Scholarship Foundation and, in 2012, the Foundation was granted 501(c)3 status under the lnternal Revenue Code making gifts tax deductible.

The TGA Scholarship Foundation annually awards two scholarships each in the amount of $3,000 named for John H. Ward and Leslie B. Enoch, ll. Based on available funds, additional scholarships are awarded in the amount of $2,000 each. Funding for these scholarships is collected throughout the year from golf, fishing, and tennis tournaments, silent auctions as well as donations from individuals, foundations and business partners.

Fundraising efforts are ongoing and your consideration of a gift to the Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The students receiving these scholarships are very grateful and are involved in studies of various fields such as nursing, computer science, physical therapy, pre-medicine, engineering technology and more.

Thank you for your time and consideration of support for the TGA Scholarship Foundation. lf you have questions regarding this request, please contact the Foundation at 615-597-0523.
